In Neumarkt in Styria, the Europe Forum of the European Federalist Movement (EFB) and the Young European Federalists (JEF) will take place from 10 to 12 July 2026 (Friday evening to Sunday afternoon) under the motto:
“Power or Powerlessness – Europe’s Role in a New World Order.”
Politics, society, the economy and, above all, Europe itself are at the core of the event.

The unique venue – Europaburg – offers a special atmosphere that encourages open dialogue and discussion. The programme (tbc) is divided into several thematic sections, each addressing different aspects of the main topic. Breaks between sessions, shared meals and the evening programme provide ample opportunities for informal exchange. On Sunday morning, JEF participants will take part in an excursion. For young people, the Europe Forum offers a valuable opportunity to gain insights into the European political system, engage with decision-makers and experts, and experience an educational and inspiring weekend.

Accommodation for young participants aged 16 to 30 will be provided in shared rooms (4 to 8 beds) at Europaburg. Some participants will be accommodated in holiday apartments in Neumarkt. Thanks to the support of our funding partners, all costs for accommodation and meals are covered by EFB and JEF. Travel cost reimbursement for participants residing in Austria is possible for journeys by public transport or carpooling, supported by Erasmus+ Youth.

Places are limited and will be allocated based on defined criteria at the following deadlines: 15 March / 30 April / 7 June. We reserve the right to decline applications.

We recommend travelling by public transport. From Neumarkt train station, Europaburg (Schloßleiten 6, 8820 Neumarkt in der Steiermark) can be reached within approximately 15 minutes on foot. Free parking is available directly at the venue and at the main square in Neumarkt.
